Terms and conditions
Needs to cover, at minimum: the identity of the promoter and company registration, who can enter (18 or over, UK resident), how to enter by payment and by post, the skill question and why it makes this a prize competition rather than a lottery, ticket limits, the closing and draw date and time, how the winning number is selected and verified, how winners are notified and by when, prize description and the cash alternative, delivery terms, what happens if a competition does not sell out, refund and cancellation policy, complaints process, and governing law.
Privacy policy
Needs to cover: what personal data is collected at entry, the lawful basis for processing, how long it is kept, who it is shared with (payment processor, delivery partner), marketing consent and how to withdraw it, data subject rights, and the data controller's contact details for requests.
Acceptable use
Needs to cover: one account per person, no automated or bulk entry, no fraudulent payment, the right to void entries and refuse service, and behaviour expected on live streams and social channels.
Responsible play
